Expertise in precision sheet metal work to meet your engineering requirements.
Simaform has been acknowledged as a specialist in precision sheet metal work for thin metal parts (up to 6 mm thick) since the 1960s.
This long-standing expertise is at the heart of our business and stems from our complete mastery of cutting, shaping, assembly, and finishing processes. We offer solutions tailored to the most demanding industrial requirements, from prototypes through to large-scale production.
Our precision sheet metal work at Simaform is based on a variety of processes that we have perfected in-house in order to guarantee consistent quality and a fast response time.
With four fiber laser cutting machines (400 W to 2 kW) and a stock of over 80 tons of material, we can cut all types of metals (steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, etc.) from sheet metal or rolls, with thicknesses ranging from 0.05 to 6 mm, for production runs of all sizes.
Our wide range of presses (manual, mechanical, hydropneumatic) enables us to form complex 2D or 3D parts using optimized tools for small or mid-sized production runs.
This ultra-precise method of thermal bonding uses a laser beam to fuse different materials or parts together. It can be performed with or without the addition of material and is particularly suitable for sensitive, delicate, or technical components that require aesthetic and durable welds.
Laser engraving and permanent marking rely on a concentrated beam of light capable of removing material by vaporization, avoiding any mechanical contact. Marks can be deep or just on the surface, depending on the material (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.). A reliable, readable, and durable industrial marking solution.
Deburring is a mechanical operation that aims to remove burrs, sharp edges, and material residues produced during machining or cutting processes. Polishing, tribofinishing, shot peening, or sandblasting can improve the visual appearance and functional properties of parts.
Heat treatment refers to a set of processes designed to modify the physical, mechanical, and/or chemical properties of a material through the controlled application of heat. In particular, it allows parts to be hardened and tempered (aged) in order to increase their strength, dimensional stability, or longevity.
We work with a wide variety of metals, including the most technically demanding ones: Steel, stainless steel, copper, beryllium copper, brass, bronze, nickel, aluminum, titanium.
This selection allows the mechanical, thermal, or aesthetic characteristics of each component to be customized according to its ultimate intended use.
The available finishing options (deburring, polishing, sandblasting, engraving, etc.) optimize not only the visual appearance, but also the functionality, safety, and service life of the components. Our modern tools and processes mean we can guarantee consistent quality while also respecting the environment (wastewater treatment, recycling).
Our expertise covers a wide range of industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace, medical, defense, watchmaking, electronics, and energy.
We guarantee tailored support and uncompromising quality at every step, from a single prototype to industrial production.
