Simaform is a recognized industrial player, combining cutting-edge technologies with proven expertise in fine sheet metal working. The company's complete control of the production chain enables it to offer bespoke solutions to businesses in Luxembourg, Europe, and beyond. It has become a major player in the automotive sector and has expanded internationally with operations in the Czech Republic (1999) and the United States (2017).

Simaform's in-house design office, quality department, and its complete control of the production chain enable it to support its customers with tailored solutions, while at the same time anticipating technological and industrial developments.

History

From precision sheet metal work to 3D printing with metal and polymers

Simaform SA can trace its origins back to the 1960s, when the site in Eselborn, located in the north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, was home to a copper and aluminum foundry called Alcuilux. The company quickly grew its mechanical engineering activities and diversified its production. It was taken over in 1972 by the Gottschol family, who went on to create the Gottschol Alcuilux S.A. group, which brought together several industrial companies.

Simaform originally specialized in precision sheet metal work, but has evolved to become a leading technology player. 2008 saw it become part of the Gottschol Alcuilux S.A. holding company under its current name, along with subsidiaries active in the foundry, machining, and medical sectors. In 2014, Simaform moved into a new, modern building, also in Eselborn.

Today, Simaform offers a wide range of advanced manufacturing processes, including four types of laser technology (cutting, welding, engraving, marking), metal additive manufacturing, wire EDM cutting, micro-machining, forming, and heat and finishing treatments.
